Bigger Big Brake Kit
When a big brake kit just isn’t enough for your high HP build we’ve got the solution for you. These brakes are based on either 11.75”x1.25” or 11.75x.810” rotor common in the circle track world but made to fit your Miata. They are designed to use a Wilwood Superlite patterned (3.5” lug mount) caliper which several manufactures make compatible calipers to fit. Most of our customers have been taking advantage of the cheap but unfortunately discontinued AFCO calipers while the supplies last. After those are dried up you can select a caliper that fits your budget from Wilwood, AP, Coleman and a few others. These calipers all use the 7420 pad shape which has a massive .800” thickness and most all compounds are available.
These kit’s are being sold a little differently than you’re used to, you’ll be buying the brackets and rotor hats along with the bolts for the brackets and then purchasing the rotors, rotor bolts calipers, pads and lines separately. There are so many options for this setup it makes sense to allow the customer to build out their kit to suit their needs. We’ve put together a spread sheet of just some of the more popular options to complete your setup.

The biggest downside to such a massive 1.25 rotor brake option is wheel fitment, most 9.5” or wider wheels will clear but anything narrower usually has interference issues with the barrel of the wheel. Below are some of the known fitments.
Jongbloed 15x10’s
Freeform 15x9.5
Konig Deka 15x10
Konig Deka 15x9 with 8mm spacer
Konig Countergram 15x8 with 8mm spacer
Advanti Storms 15x9 with 10mm spacer
Advanti storms 15x8 with 10mm spacer
Team Dynamics 15x8 with 10mm spacer
KE 15x10 with light grinding
Konig Dial in 15x9 with 13mm spacer
FM Kogekis 15x9 with 6mm spacer
The recently added .810” width rotor adds .440” worth of wheel clearance making most 9”s an option without spacers and even some 8’s. Were gathering wheel fitment data now.
Jonglboed 15x9 with 5mm spacer
TRM 15x9 with a 10mm spacer and some grinding
6UL does still need a 15mm spacer
*more being added daily
